Privacy Policy

We collect the minimum needed to make and deliver your shoes, and we never sell it. This page explains what we collect, why, and the choices you have.

What we collect

  • Account and order details: name, email, shipping address, phone number and order history.
  • Order data: the model, lattice tune, fit, size, width and engraving text of the shoes you order. Each order has an ID so we can find your build sheet.
  • Payment information: processed by our payment provider. We never see or store your full card number.
  • Messages: anything you send us through the contact form, email or chat.
  • Usage data: pages visited, device type and approximate location derived from your IP address, used to keep the site working and understand what people use.

Foot scans

Scan fit data is used for one thing: making your shoes. Scans are processed into a 3D model and twenty-two measurements, then the original photographs are deleted within 24 hours.

We keep the measurements and model for as long as you have an account so you can reorder without scanning again. You can delete your scan at any time from your account or by emailing us, and it is removed from our systems within 30 days.

How we use it

  • To manufacture, deliver and support the shoes you order.
  • To send order updates, build sheets and tracking information.
  • To send Studio news if you have subscribed. You can unsubscribe from any email in one click.
  • To improve our models and lattice tuning using aggregated, de-identified fit data.
  • To detect fraud and keep the site secure.

Who we share it with

We share information only with the companies that help us run Star Flash: payment processing, shipping carriers, email delivery and cloud hosting. Each is bound by contract to use your data only to provide their service to us. We do not sell personal data and we do not share it with advertisers.

Cookies

StarFlash.ai uses strictly necessary cookies and local storage to remember your cart and your fit preferences on your device. We do not use third-party advertising cookies. Analytics, if enabled, are privacy-preserving and do not track you across other sites.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, export or delete your personal data, to object to certain processing and to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority. To exercise any of these, email us and we will respond within 30 days. We honour these rights for everyone, wherever you live.
