Every Star Flash pair is made after you order it. Here is what that means for delivery, returns and what happens to a shoe at the end of its life.
Production timeline
Because nothing is made in advance, delivery time is production time plus transit. Most pairs arrive within 10 to 14 days of checkout.

You receive a link to your build sheet when printing begins, and tracking when the pair ships from Lugano.
Shipping
- Free standard shipping on every order within Switzerland, the European Union, the United Kingdom, the United States and Canada.
- Express shipping is available at checkout and reduces transit to 1 – 3 business days. It does not reduce production time.
- We ship in a recyclable box with your printed build sheet. No plastic fillers.
- Duties and taxes for orders outside the regions above are calculated at checkout so there are no surprises on delivery.
30-day fit guarantee
To start a fit claim, email Support@StarFlash.ai with your order ID and what you would like to change. We send a prepaid label for the original pair and start the new print immediately.
Returns & exchanges
Star Flash shoes are custom products made for one person, so we handle returns a little differently from a traditional store:
- Fit issues: covered by the guarantee above, for any reason, within thirty days.
- Defects: any manufacturing defect is reprinted or refunded for one year from delivery.
- Change of mind: unworn pairs can be returned within fourteen days of delivery for a refund minus a $25 printing fee. The returned pair is recycled through Star Flash Return.
Changing an order
You can change your size, width, lattice tune or engraving until slicing begins, usually within two hours of checkout. Reply to your order confirmation with the changes. Once printing has started, the file is locked.
Star Flash Return
Every Star Flash shoe is printed from a single family of materials so the whole shoe can be shredded and reprinted. When a pair reaches the end of its life, request a prepaid return label from your account or by emailing Support@StarFlash.ai. We recycle it and credit $20 toward your next build.
Star Flash Return also handles fit exchanges and change-of-mind returns, which is how we keep zero inventory from turning into landfill.
