Terms of Service
These terms apply when you use StarFlash.ai and when you order shoes from Star Flash. They are written to be read, not skimmed.
Orders
When you check out, you are asking us to manufacture the pair shown in your order summary, identified by its order ID. We confirm the order by email. Production begins when the design is sliced, usually within two hours, and the order cannot be changed after that point except as described in our Shipping & Returns policy.
Custom products
Every Star Flash pair is made to order for you. Because of this:
- You are responsible for the choices in your order, including model, engraving text and size, unless you choose Scan fit.
- Engraving text must not contain content that is unlawful, hateful or infringes someone else's rights. We may refuse or cancel such orders and refund you.
- Product photography is representative. Printed materials may vary slightly in tone and texture from pair to pair.
Pricing & payment
Prices are shown in US dollars and include the base model, Scan fit and engraving as itemised in your summary. Shipping and applicable taxes are shown at checkout. Payment is captured when you place the order. If we cannot produce a design for technical reasons we will tell you and refund you in full.
Your orders
By ordering, you ask Star Flash to manufacture the pair for you and to store the build sheet so you can reorder. We may use anonymised order data (without your name or engraving text) in aggregate statistics and, with your permission, in our Journal or marketing.
Intellectual property
The Star Flash name, the star mark, the Studio software, lattice generation algorithms, models and content on this site belong to Star Flash, Lugano, and its licensors. You may not copy, reverse engineer or reproduce them except as needed to use the site.
Warranty
We warrant that your shoes are free from manufacturing defects for one year from delivery, and we offer the 30-day fit guarantee described in Shipping & Returns. Normal wear, misuse and modification are not covered. Where the law gives you additional rights, nothing here reduces them.
Liability
To the extent permitted by law, Star Flash is not liable for indirect or consequential losses arising from your use of the site or products. Our total liability for any order is limited to the amount you paid for it. Nothing in these terms limits liability for death, personal injury caused by negligence, fraud or anything that cannot be limited by law.
General
These terms are governed by the laws of Switzerland. The place of jurisdiction is Lugano, Ticino. If any part is found unenforceable, the rest continues to apply. We may update these terms; the version in force is the one published here at the time of your order. Questions: Support@StarFlash.ai.
